Front Engine Mount Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the radiator fan shroud assembly (see FAN, FAN MOTOR, AND SHROUD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
  2. Remove the front engine mount stop (A), and disconnect the vacuum hose (B).

  3. Remove the front engine mount bolt (C).
  4. Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the engine/transmission.
  5. Remove the front engine mount (A) from the front subframe.

  6. Remove the front engine mount insulator (B), then disconnect the vacuum hose (C).
