DTC 81: TPMS Control Unit Failure
NOTE:
Low battery voltage can cause this DTC. Make sure the battery is fully charged and in good condition (see
BATTERY TEST
).
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
- Clear the DTC with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode and then the ON mode.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 81 indicated?
YES - Replace the TPMS control unit (see TPMS CONTROL UNIT REPLACEMENT ).
NO - The system is OK at this time. Check for loose terminals and poor connections at the TPMS control unit and G403.
