Blower Unit Removal/Installation

  1. Remove these items:
  2. Detach the harness clips (A). Remove the bolts, and the glove box frame (B).

  3. Cut the plastic cross brace (A) in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown in the illustration. Retain the plastic cross brace to be reinstalled later.

  4. Detach the harness clip (A), then remove the self-tapping screws, and the passenger's heater duct (B).

  5. Disconnect the blower motor connector (A) and the climate control unit connectors (B), and detach the harness clips (C).

  6. Remove the self-tapping screws, and disconnect the recirculation control motor connector (A).

  7. Disconnect the right engine compartment harness connector (C205) (A) and detach the harness clips (B). Remove the mounting nuts, and the blower unit (C).

  8. Install the unit in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there are no air leaks.
