Intake Air Resonator Removal/Installation
- Do the battery removal procedure (see BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the air cleaner (see AIR CLEANER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the air intake cover (A), the intake air ducts (B).
- Remove the front bumper (see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - SEDAN ).
- Remove the left front wheel.
- Remove the clips (A), then remove the inner fender (B).
- Remove the intake air resonator (A).NOTE: When installing the resonator, use a new seal ring (B).
- Disconnect ECM/PCM connectors A, B, and C, then remove the ECM/PCM (D).NOTE:
- ECM/PCM connectors A, B, and C have symbols (A=□, B=Δ, C=◦) embossed on them for identification.
- Canada model: When disconnecting the ECM/PCM connectors, remove the ECM/PCM sub bracket (E).
- Remove the battery base (A).
- Remove the intake air duct (A).
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
- Do the battery installation procedure (see BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
