DTC P00FE  : EVAP Vent Line Blockage

Special Tools Required 

Vacuum Pump/Gauge, 0-30 inHg Snap-on YA4000A or equivalent, commercially available

P00FE EVAP Vent Line Blockage    

DTC (PGM-FI)

  1. EVAP canister check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Disconnect the fuel tank vapor recirculation tube (A) from the EVAP canister (B).

    - 3. Connect a hose (A) to the EVAP canister fuel tank vapor recirculation tube port (B), and connect the vacuum pump/gauge, 0-30 inHg, to the hose as shown.

    - 4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

    - 5. Apply 1.3 kPa (0.4 inHg, 10 mmHg) of vacuum to the hose.

    NOTE:  Be careful not to exceed the vacuum. If you do, the FTP sensor can be damaged.

    - 6. Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.

    Does the value of FTP SENSOR change?

    YES 

    Replace the fuel tank .

    NO 

    Replace the EVAP canister .
