Wireless Charger Input Test

NOTE: 

Step 1.  Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode

Step 2.  Disconnect the wireless charger 7P connector.

Step 3.  Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact:

Step 4.  Reconnect the connector to the wireless charger, and do the following input tests:

Cavity Wire Test condition Test: Desired result Possible cause if desired result

is not obtained

7 WHT Under all conditions Measure the voltage to ground:

There should be battery voltage.

  • Blown No. A29 (10 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box
  • An open or high resistance in the wire
6 PUR Vehicle ACCESSORY mode Measure the voltage to ground:

There should be battery voltage.

  • Blown No. B37 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box
  • An open or high resistance in the wire
1 BLK In all power modes Measure the voltage to ground:

There should be less than 0.2 V.

  • Poor ground (G303)
  • An open or high resistance in the ground wire
