Front Passenger's Power Window Motor Test: Test
Motor Test
- Front Passenger's Door Armrest - Remove
- Front Passenger's Power Window Motor - Test
1. Connect the connector (A), then install the door panel as needed 2. Test the motor in each direction by connecting 12 volt battery power and ground to the connector (B) according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect 12 volt battery power immediately.
- If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, remove the front passenger's door regulator , then go to step 3.
- If the motor runs smoothly, go to Hall IC Unit (Pulser) Test.
3. Test the front passenger's power window motor (A) by connecting 12 volt battery power and ground according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect 12 volt battery power immediately.
4. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, the front passenger's power window motor is faulty; replace the front passenger's door regulator . If the motor runs smoothly, replace the wire harnesses or adjust the front passenger's door glass .Hall IC Unit (Pulser) Test
- Hall IC Unit (Pulser) - Test
1. Remove the front passenger's power window switch - Refer to: Front Passenger's Power Window Switch Removal and Installation .
2. Connect the connector (A).
3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
4. Do the front passenger's power window switch input test terminals No. 35, No. 36, and No. 37 - Refer to: Front Passenger's Power Window Switch Input Test .MTR SVCC circuit
Front passenger's power window switch connector No. 37 Body ground MTR PLSA and MTR PLSB circuits:
Front passenger's power window switch connector No. 35 No. 3 No. 36 No. 3 - If the voltage is as specified, replace the front passenger's power window switch - Refer to: Front Passenger's Power Window Switch Removal and Installation (B).
- If the voltage is not specified, the Hall IC Unit (Pulser) is faulty; replace the front passenger's door regulator .
- All Removed Parts - Install
1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal. - Power Window Control Unit - Reset
