Heated Steering Wheel System Description: Components

Steering Heater 

Heating is done by the current from the heated steering wheel control unit.

Heated Steering Wheel Switch 

The heated steering wheel switch is a momentary switch and performs input to the heated steering wheel control unit. The heated steering wheel indicator is driven by the heated steering wheel control unit.

Heater Temperature Sensor 

The temperature of the steering heater is feedback to the heated steering wheel control unit.
