Steering Heater Test: Test

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations - Refer to: SRS Component Location Index (With SH-AWD), or SRS Component Location Index (Without SH-AWD) and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Steering Wheel - Remove
2. Steering Wheel Rear Cover - Remove

3. Steering Heater - Test

   1. Disconnect the connector (A) 2. Check for continuity between the terminals according to the table. There should be continuity. NOTE: When the steering heater temperature is 73 °F (23 °C), resistance value is 2.0 ± 0.20 Ω. 3. If the continuity is not as specified, the steering heater (B) is faulty; replace the steering wheel assembly .

4. All Remove Parts - Install

   1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
