PCM Inspection

Preconditions

NOTE: This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.

External circuit is normal

Test Procedure

Preparation
- A/F sensor (Sensor 1) 6P connector: disconnected

Procedure

Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3000 RPM without load (in P or N) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.

Perform the confirmation procedure, and inspect according to the following table.


			(Disconnected) A/F sensor (Sensor 1) 6P connector female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	PCM output voltage inspection	ON*1		About 0.2 V or more
*1: Engine running

Results

If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the PCM.
