How to use this Service Information .

1. Engine Oil Level - Check

   ■ Preconditions 

   • Vehicle on Level Ground
   • Engine Warmed Up

   ■ Procedure/Specifications 

   1. Turn the engine off after warming it up and wait 3 minutes.

   2. Remove the dipstick, and wipe off the dipstick, then reinstall the dipstick.

   3. Remove the dipstick, and check the oil level.

   Normal Conditions 

   Position	Specifications
   A: Upper Mark	Engine oil level should be between A and B
   B: Lower Mark

   ■ Result 

   • If the oil level is near or below the lower mark, check for oil leaks, and add oil - Refer to: Engine Oil Level Check  or Engine Oil Replacement  to bring it to the upper mark.
