ECT Sensor 2 Inspection
NOTE:
Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.
Test Procedure
PCM output voltage inspection
- Preparation
- ECT sensor 2 2P connector: disconnected
- Procedure
- Jump ECT sensor 2 2P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with a jumper wire.
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- Confirm the HDS [ ECT Sensor 2 Voltage ].
(Disconnected)
ECT sensor 2 2P connector female terminals
- Normal Conditions
- HDS [ ECT Sensor 2 Voltage ] value is less than 4.92 V .
Results
- If it is normal, there is a problem with ECT sensor 2.
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the related components.
