+B_STOP, IG1_IDAS(VST), BRK_LAMP, BRK_DIAG Circuit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• 1. -

     VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector: disconnected

  2. -

     Brake light relay: disconnected

• Procedure
• 1. -

     Perform the inspection according to the following table.

	+B_STOP circuit inspection	OFF			12 V battery voltage [circuit type 1]
	IG1_IDAS (VST) circuit inspection	ON			12 V battery voltage [circuit type 3]
	BRK_LAMP open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
	BRK_DIAG open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

  NOTE:  If the power supply inspection of the above table showed abnormally, do the additional Power Supply Inspection , to locate the failure.

VSA Modulator-Control Unit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining VSA modulator-control unit is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the VSA modulator-control unit.
