DTC C0049-7B: Inspection

BRAKE_LEVEL_SW Shorted Wire Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• 1. -

     Brake fluid level switch 2P connector: disconnected

  2. -

     Gauge control module connector A (32P): disconnected

• Procedure
• 1. -

     Perform the inspection according to the following table.

     NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

			(Disconnected) Brake fluid level switch 2P connector female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	BRAKE_LEVEL_SW shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

VSA Modulator-Control Unit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining VSA modulator-control unit is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the VSA modulator-control unit.
