ABV Shorted Wire Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure

Turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve 2P connector: disconnected
- -
PCM connector E (114P): disconnected
- -
- Procedure

- -
Perform the inspection according to the following table.
Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
IGPS(ABV) Shorted Wire Inspection
Test Procedure

Turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve 2P connector: disconnected
- -
Power distribution module connector A (18P): disconnected
- -
Rear A/F sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1) 4P connector: disconnected
- -
Front A/F sensor (Bank 2, Sensor 1) 4P connector: disconnected
- -
EVAP canister purge valve 2P connector: disconnected
- -
EVAP leak check module 8P connector (USA and Canada models): disconnected

Perform the inspection according to the following table.

Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the PCM.
