Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) Component Inspection

Test Procedure

Sensor internal circuit inspection	OFF		About 5.0 - 6.2 Ohm(at room temperature)

IG1(SO2) Circuit Inspection

Test Procedure


			(Disconnected)Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) 4P connectormale terminals

	IG1(SO2) circuit inspection	ON		12 V battery voltage [circuit type 1]

Results

If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
If the power supply inspection of the above table showed abnormally, do the additional Power Supply Inspection , to locate the failure.

SO2HT Circuit Inspection

NOTICE:

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) 4P connector: disconnected
- PCM connector E (114P): disconnected
Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.


			(Disconnected)Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) 4P connectormale terminals	(Disconnected) PCM connector E (114P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(3.0L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(2.0L Engine) female terminals

SO2HT open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
SO2HT shorted to ground inspection	OFF			Not shorted

PCM Inspection

Test Procedure

If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
