DTC Troubleshooting: P0332(3.0L Engine): Inspection
Knock Sensor 2 (Bank 2) Inspection
NOTE:
Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.
Test Procedure
Unit output voltage inspection
- Preparation
-
- -
Knock sensor 2 (Bank 2) 2P connector: disconnected
- -
- Procedure
-
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- Confirm the HDS [Knock Sensor (Circuit Diag)-B2].
- Normal Conditions
-
- -
HDS [Knock Sensor (Circuit Diag)-B2] value is about 5.0 V.
- -
Results
- If it is normal, there is a problem with knock sensor 2 (Bank 2).
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
KSB2, KSSGB2 Shorted Wire Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
-
- -
Knock sensor 2 (Bank 2) 2P connector: disconnected
- -
PCM connector E (114P): disconnected
- -
- Procedure
-
- -
Perform the inspection according to the following table.
- -

| IG Mode |
|
Normal Conditions | ||
| KSB2, KSSGB2 shorted wire to wire inspection | OFF | There is more than 1 MOhm | ||
| KSB2 shorted to ground inspection | OFF | Not shorted | ||
Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
PCM Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
Results
