Vacuum Line Visual Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
• • Check for vacuum leaks at these parts:

    Intake air duct

    Intake manifold

    PCV valve

    PCV hose

    Purge (PCS) hose

    EVAP canister purge valve

    Throttle body

    All parts through the turbocharger joint to the throttle body.

• Normal Conditions
• • There is no leaks.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the intake air system, PCV system and/or the EVAP system component(s).
