Throttle Body Inspection (Stuck) 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• • -

    Throttle body inlet hose: removed

• Procedure
• • Push the throttle valve open as shown.
  • Release the throttle valve.

• Normal Conditions
• • -

    Throttle valve returns to the default position.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the throttle body.

Throttle Body Inspection (Cleaning) 

Preconditions 

• Result of throttle body inspection (stuck) is normal

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
• • Do the throttle body cleaning - Refer to: Throttle Body Carbon Accumulation Check or Throttle Body Cleaning .
  • Perform the confirmation procedure.

• Normal Conditions
• • DTC P1684 is not indicated.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the throttle body.
