Test Procedure 

           
      (Disconnected) 12 volt battery sensor 2P connector female terminals (Disconnected) Gauge control module connector A (32P) female terminals  
    IG Mode

Normal Conditions
  +B_BATT_SNSR circuit inspection  OFF   12 V battery voltage [circuit type 1] 
  LIN (METER) open wire inspection  OFF There is less than 1 Ohm 
  Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
  LIN (METER) shorted to ground inspection  OFF   Not shorted

Preconditions 

NOTE: This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.
