+B_BATT_SNSR, LIN (METER) Circuit Inspection
Test Procedure
- Preparation
-
- 12 volt battery sensor 2P connector: disconnected
- Heated steering wheel control unit 14P connector (with heated steering wheel system): disconnected
- Audio remote-HFL switch 16P connector: disconnected
- Gauge control module connector A (32P): disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.

Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
If the power supply inspection of the above table showed abnormally, do the additional Power Supply Inspection , to locate the failure.
Components Connected to LIN (METER) Circuit Inspection
Preconditions
NOTE:
This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.
- External circuit is normal
Test Procedure
- Preparation

- 12 volt battery sensor 2P connector: disconnected
- Heated steering wheel control unit 14P connector (with heated steering wheel system): disconnected
- Audio remote-HFL switch 16P connector: disconnected
- Gauge control module connector A (32P): disconnected
- Procedure
Perform the inspection according to the following table and while reconnecting these connectors, one at a time:

- Heated steering wheel control unit 14P connector (with heated steering wheel system)
- Audio remote-HFL Switch 16P connector
- Gauge control module connector A (32P)

| LIN (METER) shorted to parts inspection | OFF | Not shorted |
Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the part that has shorted when it was reconnected.
12 Volt Battery Sensor Circuit Inspection
Preconditions
NOTE:
This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.
- External circuit is normal

- Heated steering wheel control unit 14P connector (with heated steering wheel system): disconnected
- Audio remote-HFL switch 16P connector: disconnected
- Gauge control module connector A (32P): disconnected
- Procedure

- Perform the inspection according to the following table.

Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the 12 volt battery sensor.
Gauge Control Module Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item (s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining gauge control module is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the gauge control module.
