DTC Troubleshooting: P16F6 (2.0L Engine): Inspection

ST_CUT_RLY2_CL- Shorted Wire Inspection 

NOTICE: 

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• • PCM connector A (50P): disconnected
  • Starter cut relay 2: disconnected

• Procedure
• • Perform the inspection according to the following table.
    NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

			(Disconnected) PCM connector A (50P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (3.0L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2.0L Engine) female terminals

	ST_CUT_RLY2_CL- shorted to power inspection	ON		Not shorted

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

PCM Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item (s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the PCM.
