Confirmation Procedure

1. Start the engine.

2. Hold the engine speed at 3, 000 rpm without load (in P or N) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle for at least 8 seconds.Test-drive the vehicle under these conditions:

• HDS [Engine Speed] between 1, 700 rpm or more
• Transmission in D
• HDS [REL TP Sensor] above 45 deg
• Drive 4 seconds or more

4. Monitor the HDS [OBD STATUS (PGM-FI)] for DTC P2074.
