DTC Troubleshooting: P2074 (2.0L Engine): Inspection

MAP Sensor Functional Inspection (1) 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure

• Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
• Confirm the HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)] and HDS [TC Boost Pressure].

• Normal Conditions
• • HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)] and HDS [TC Boost Pressure] value differ less than 30.6 kPa (9.0 inHg, 230 mmHg) 

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with MAP sensor.

MAP Sensor Functional Inspection (2) 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure

• Note the value of MAP Sensor (Hi Res) in the DATA LIST with the HDS.
• Start the engine and let it idle.
• Confirm the HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)].

• Normal Conditions
• • HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)] changes more than 0.67 kPa (0.2 inHg, 5 mmHg)

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with MAP sensor.
