DTC Troubleshooting: P2135 (2.0L Engine): Inspection
THL1, THL2 Shorted Wire Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
-
- PCM connector E (80P): disconnected
- Throttle body 6P connector: disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
| (Disconnected) PCM connector E (80P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (3.0L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2.0L Engine) female terminals | ||||
| IG Mode |
|
Normal Conditions | ||
| THL1, THL2 shorted wire to wire inspection | OFF | There is more than 1 MOhm | ||
Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
TP Sensor Circuit Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Preconditions
NOTE:
This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.
- External circuit is normal
