VAC1 Circuit Inspection

NOTICE: 

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure

    Brake booster pressure sensor connector (3P): disconnected

    PCM connector A (50P): disconnected

• Procedure
• • -

    Perform the inspection according to the following table.

(Disconnected)PCM connector A (50P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (1.5L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) female terminals

Normal Conditions

VAC1 open wire inspection 

OFF

There is less than 1 Ohm 

Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

VAC1 shorted to power inspection 

ON

Not shorted 

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
