    Perform the inspection according to the following table.

Normal Conditions

Sensor internal circuit inspection 

OFF*1

There is continuity 

OFF*2

There is no continuity 

*1: Shift position/mode is in R

*2: Shift position/mode is not in R

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the transmission range switch.
