2.9L Right

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the right cylinder head ignition coil.
4. Remove the ignition coil retaining screw (2a).
5. Remove the ignition coil (2a).

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the ignition coil component integrity prior to installing.

2. Position the ignition coil to the ignition coil housing.
3. Install the ignition coil (1a) in the housing and tighten the retaining screw (1b) to the proper specification.. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
4. Connect the wiring harness connector (2) to the ignition coil.
5. Install the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
