Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position the lower control arm in place on the vehicle.
- Install the two lower control arm to crossmember mounting bolts (1b) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install a NEW
strut assembly to lower control arm mounting bolt (1a). Do not tighten at this time.
and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the lower control arm ball joint into the knuckle and install a NEW lower control arm to knuckle mounting nut (1) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- If equipped, connect the axle sensor to the lower control arm. Refer to SENSOR, AXLE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
- Preform a wheel alignment. Refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Tighten the lower control arm mounting bolt to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
