Removal And Installation: 2.0L

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Remove the air outlet pipe from the turbocharger to the throttle body. Refer to (2.0L) COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or Refer to (2.9L)COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the ignition coil capacitor.

4. Remove the retaining nut (1a).
5. Remove the ignition coil capacitor (1b).

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the ignition coil capacitor and wiring harness connector integrity.

2. Position the ignition coil capacitor (1b) as shown and secure with the retaining nut (1a) tightened to the proper. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

3. Connect the wiring harness connector (1) to the ignition coil capacitor.
4. Install the air outlet pipe from the turbocharger to the throttle body. Refer to 2.0L COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Refer to 2.9L COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
