All clutches are a single dry disc design with diaphragm- type spring release pressure plate. Alliance and Encore use a cable operated 7 5/32" (181.5 mm) disc and pressure plate. Eagle 4-cylinder engines use a hydraulically operated, 9 1/8" (231.8 mm) disc and pressure plate. The clutch disc has 4 damper springs and locating dowels to position the pressure plate cover.
