Manifold Air/Fuel Temp. Sensor

  1. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the MAT sensor. Test resistance of the sensor with an ohmmeter. Resistance ranges from 300 ohms to 300,000 ohms (10,000 ohms at room temperature). Replace sensor if outside of specified range.
  2. Test resistance of the wiring harness between pin 13 of ECU harness connector J2 and the sensor connector, and between pin 11 of connector J2 and sensor connector. See Figure for connector identification. Repair harness if resistance is greater than 1 ohm.
