Throttle Body Assembly: Removal

  1. Disconnect throttle return spring, throttle cable and cruise control cable (if equipped). Disconnect wiring connectors from fuel injector, WOT switch and ISA motor. Disconnect fuel supply and return pipes at throttle body. See Figure.
  2. Tag all vacuum hoses for installation. Disconnect vacuum hoses. Remove throttle body from manifold. If throttle body assembly is being replaced, transfer ISA motor and WOT switch and bracket assembly to new part.
