Neutral Safety Switch

  1. Remove console and shift selector. Loosen cable clamp mut and move lever on transaxle into "PARK" position. Tighten cable clamp mut to 72 INCH lbs. (8 N.m)
  2. Adjust neutral safety switch by moving forward or rearward so that engine can only be started in "NEUTRAL" or "PARK" positions and tighten mounting screws. Reinstall console.
