Draining & Refilling: Transaxle

After removing plug and draining fluid, pan should be removed and thoroughly cleaned with lint-free cloths. Reinstall pan using new gasket, tightening bolts in a criss-cross pattern. Tighten to 14 ft. lbs. (19 N.m), checking torque twice at 5-10 minute intervals as gasket settles.
Add 3.2 qts. (3.0L) of specified ATF. Start engine and select all shift lever positions while keeping vehicle stationary. Drive a short road test until fluid is lukewarm. Check fluid lever and top off so that level is between upper and lower marks on dipstick.
