Removal - M/T: Installation

To install transmission, reverse removal procedure and note the following: Check that the engine-to-transmission mounts are free of tension. Readjust shift linkage. Clean driveshaft and axle flanges and lightly coat with MoS₂ grease or spray. If pickup eye is still in place on transmission (near starter), remove with hacksaw to gain easier access to exhaust pipe.
