- Remove test equipment and prepare ABS system for normal operation. Start engine and observe anti-lock brake system indicator light in vehicle. Indicator light must go out. While engine is running, actuate switch for ABS system. Indicator light must come on.
- Turn ignition off and restart engine. Indicator light must go out. Drive vehicle above 20 miles per hour. Anti-lock brake system indicator light must come on.
NOTE:
On 5000CS Quattro, if the center and/or rear differential lock is engaged, the ABS indicator light must come on.
