Front Suspension: Description
Front suspension is a MacPherson strut independent type suspension. The strut assembly attaches to inner fender panel at the top and wheel bearing housing at the bottom. See Fig 1-4.
The 100 and 200 Turbo models use a control arm and ball joint connected to the frame by a single bushing and retaining bolt. See Fig 2. Stabilizer bar is attached to both control arms and connected to subframe by 2 brackets. On 80 and 90 models, the lower control arm is connected at the frame by 2 bushings and to bearing housing by a replaceable ball joint. See Fig 1.
