Leakage Test

With engine idling, turn steering wheel to full lock and hold. Inspect all connections. If leaking exists at steering pinion, replace housing seal and both intermediate plate seals.
If intermediate plate seal is leaking, fluid will have entered rack housing. Check for fluid by loosening outer clamp on right steering boot while pushing boot in. If seal leaks, replace all seals.
