Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

Disconnect ECT sensor connector. See the ELECTRICAL COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . Measure resistance between ECT sensor terminals. If resistance is not as specified, replace ECT sensor. See ECT SENSOR RESISTANCE table. If resistance is as specified, check wiring. If wiring is okay, replace PCM.
