Servotronic, checking voltage supply

Remove driver's side storage compartment.
See DRIVER'S STORAGE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING .

For Right Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles
Unbolt mounting bracket and remove.

Remove relay for servotronic control module -J236-, position 13.
Switch ignition on
Adjust VAG1526 digital multimeter to voltage range up to 20 volts.

Measure at relay connector between terminals 6 and terminal 8.
1. Specification: approx. 12 volts.
If specified value is not obtained, check electrical wiring.
