Speed signal, checking

The speed signal comes from the speedometer -G21- in the instrument cluster.

• Remove driver's side storage compartment.

  See DRIVER'S STORAGE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING .

  For Right Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles

• Unbolt mounting bracket and remove.

• Remove relay for servotronic control module -J236-, position 13.
• If the voltage supply, the servotronic valve and the speed indication at the speedometer are OK, check electrical wire between terminal 4 and speedometer -G21-.

• If electrical wire between terminal 4 and speedometer -G21- is OK, replace relay for servotronic.
