Exploded view: Notes

1 - Self-locking hex nut, 20 Nm 

• Self-locking
• Replace each time after removing

2 - Bracket 

3 - Set bolt, 8 Nm 

4 - Cap nut, 20 Nm 

5 - ABS hydraulic unit -N55- 

• Installed position: in engine compartment, left side
• Connecting brake lines. See Brake line connections at hydraulic unit 

6 - Brake line 

• Master brake cylinder/secondary piston circuit to hydraulic unit

7 - Brake line 

• Brake master cylinder/primary piston circuit to hydraulic control unit

8 - ABS Control Module (w/EDL) -J104- 

• Installed position: in engine compartment, left side
• The control module is bolted to the hydraulic unit

9 - Connection for brake line 

• Hydraulic control unit to left front brake caliper

10 - Connection for brake line 

• Hydraulic control unit to right rear brake caliper

11 - Connection for brake line 

• Hydraulic control unit to left rear brake caliper

12 - Connection for brake line 

• Hydraulic control unit to right front brake caliper
