Locking Cable: Checking
- Turn ignition key to driving position (ignition on), and depress brake pedal and hold. Shifting from "P" position must be possible without snagging when button on selector lever is depressed. Key must not be able to be removed unless selector lever is in "P" position.
- Move selector lever to "P" position. Ignition key must be able to be turned to removing position without binding.
- Remove ignition key. Selector lever must not be able to move from "P" position with depressed button in handle and depressed brake pedal.
