Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface

Removing

-- If the control module was replaced, select the Replace function for the respective control module in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions.

-- Select the function or path

	Engine codes
		19 - Diagnose interface for data bus
			J533 - replacing the diagnosis interface for the data bus (Repair Group 90)

-- Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester display.

-- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-- Remove driver's storage compartment. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the screw -arrow- and then remove the air guide -1-.

-- Release retaining clips -1- and -6- by pressing them together -arrows-.

-- Disengage retaining tab -2- on bracket -3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -4- and remove the data bus on board diagnostic interface -J533- -item 5-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

If the data bus on board diagnostic interface was replace, it must be coded again.
