Rear View Camera System Control Module J772 , removing and installing
The Rear View Camera System Control Module J772 is located behind the luggage compartment front left side trim.
- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine.
Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A to do so.
CAUTION:
- Switch off all electrical components.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
Removing
- Remove left luggage compartment side trim → 70 - INTERIOR TRIM .
- Remove nuts - 1 - and - 3 - (4 Nm).
- Disconnect connectors - 2 - and - 4 -.
- Remove Rear View Camera System Control Module J772 - 5 - with bracket.
Bracket, removing
Two retaining brackets are bolted to the Rear View Camera System Control Module J772.
- Remove screws - arrows - (2 nm) and remove bracket.
Installing
- First install bracket.
- Installation of the Rear View Camera System Control Module J772 is the reverse of removal.
- Perform calibration → Rear view camera system, calibrating .
