Overview - Windshield: Notes

NOTE:

In vehicles with lane assist, the camera must be recalibrated. Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANELS .

Windshield
- Removing and Installing. Refer to WINDSHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- align the window glass on the left and right sides >>dimension b<< when installing
- Height adjustment. Refer to OVERVIEW - WINDSHIELD .
Right A-Pillar Trim
- Removing and Installing. Refer to TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A-PILLAR AND WINDSHIELD FRAME .
- Press into retaining strip only after minimum curing time for the window adhesive is done.

Roof frame trim
- Removing and Installing. Refer to TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A-PILLAR AND WINDSHIELD FRAME .

- No replacement part
- Remove the protective piping before installing the plenum chamber cover on a new window glass Figure.
Window Adhesive
- Note varying spacing dimensions to window edge.
  - Dimension -a- = 12 mm
  - Dimension -b- = 10 mm
  - Dimension -d- = 12 mm
- Observe curing times. Refer to MINIMUM CURING TIME FOR BONDED WINDOWS .
