Right Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left and right upper longitudinal member -2-, refer to Lock Carrier .

-- Remove the right air filter housing, refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the generator, refer to Generator .

-- Position the Engine Support Bridge10-222A with Engine Support BracketsT40093/7, Engine Support BracketsT40093/8, T40091/3, T40091/4, T40091/5, and T40091/6 on the left and right suspension strut towers as illustrated.

-- Mount the additional tools Engine Support - Bracket w/Spindle and Hook10-222A/10, T40091/1, T40091/3 and T40093/4 shown in the illustration.

-- Attach the Engine Support - Bracket w/Spindle and Hook10-222A/10 to the right engine lifting eye and pretension the engine slightly.

-- Disconnect the connector -2- from the Right Electrohydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve -N145- and free up the wire.

-- Remove the right engine support retaining plate bolts -1 and 4- and -arrows-.

-- Free up the electrical wiring harness located on the right engine mount retaining plate -3-.

-- Move the engine mount retaining plate to the side.

-- Lift the engine using the Engine Support - Bracket w/Spindle and Hook10 - 222 A /10 -1- to dimension -a-.

Dimension -a- = approximately 20 mm.

-- Remove the right engine mount.
