Removal And Installation

    NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) process for the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) following the on-screen instructions.

    Remove the subwoofer speaker assembly. Refer to Speaker - Subwoofer .

    Remove the 4 bolts and the DSP module.

      To install, tighten to 3.2 Nm (29 lb-in).

  1. 4.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the DSP following the on-screen instructions.
