Windshield Defogger Control Module -J505-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, THROUGH DECEMBER 2016: Removing

-- Vehicles with high-voltage system: switch off the function "parking heater" (deactivate). Refer to Owner's Manual.

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- With the ignition switched off, disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Release and open the clamp guard -D-.

-- Mark the wires -F and H- for reinstallation.

-- Remove the nuts -E and G- and free up the wires.

-- Due to the risk of short circuit insulate the positive cable -H-.

-- Release the catch and Windshield Defogger Control Module -J505- -A- from the bracket -C- downward.

-- Release and remove the connector -B-.
