Control Module/Digital Sound System Amplifier, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the floor mat from the vehicle.

The cover must be removed first.

-- Remove the expanding rivets -2- and then the cover -1-.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2- from the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -1-.

-- Insert the Fiber-Optic Repair Set - Connector Protective Caps: VAS 6223/9 -1- onto the MOST bus connector -2-.

-- Unlock and disconnect the connector -3- from the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -1-.

-- Remove the screws -4- and pivot the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -1- out of the bracket.
